A Jharokha is a type of overhanging enclosed balcony used in the architecture of Rajasthan. Jutting forward from the wall it could be used for adding to the architectural beauty of the building or for a specific purpose; one of which was to allow women to see outside without being seen themselves.

This small Stone Jharokha would have added to these amazing balconies and would look amazing in your home or garden.

Each Wooden Bowl is unique and you may receive a slightly different one to the one pictured. All Wilstone items are rich in history and have a story to tell - so the one-offs may come with imperfections that we believe add to their charm.
